Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?
In the beginning of high school, Sasha came out as transgender. Sasha's family supported him through the rough times and she knew that the possibility of everything through music. Jim and Sasha - both songwriters - are just beginning to form an official band. Since then they've performed at numerous local venues, including open mics. While The Voice coaches did not discuss Sasha's backstory, he and Jim discussed their journey to where they are today in an introductory clip played prior to their performance. Sasha began playing the guitar when she was just six years old. Jim and Sasha talked about their musical tastes and told stories of how they first met. As his father is a professional music educator Sasha was more in understanding the idea. Sasha is a woman who was born, and struggled with his identity when he was a kid. In an earlier post on Facebook, the 11-year old lady opened up and talked about his struggles. Jim broke down in tears when he told the story of his reasons for not being able to take part. Sasha Allen was born when she was a girl. Sasha Allen, The Voice contestant, is expected to turn 19 in 2021. Sasha was able to make the transition from male when he first started high school. Sasha is third transgender person to appear in the show, wrote: "I feel so honored to represent the community of trans people in this manner."
